I was hiking in Marsh Creek earlier today with my dog and we came along a Parakeet with red and yellow feathers and a big bright orange spot on the side of his head. It just stood there on the path and then kept hopping away when I got close. I grabbed a long thin stick and he jumped on it so I was thnking he was someones pet since he was soo docile. I saw the park ranger and he thought he was a house pet that escaped. I said if anyone lost the pet they can call me and I would take them back to where I saw it..
