ooshirts.com custom t-shirt review

Recently I was contacted by a representative of 0oshirts and given the opportunity to choose 2 shirts from their site to check out. Ooshirts is a custom t-shirt company that makes it very easy to order custom designed t-shirts for any occasion.

I designed the graphic for the shirts with the help of my brother, putting the logo on the front over a Peregrine Falcon silhouette and the website on the back. The ooshirt design tool is very easy to use and makes it ridiculously simple to upload an image, add text, and change the style and color of the shirt you want.

You can customize the the text on the shirts for each person, for instance if you are making them for a team (I am thinking Birding Cup and World Series of Birding) you can have the base graphics on everyone’s shirt, and then their name and/or number on the back. I selected the Gildan Cotton T-shirt because I was looking for something simple. I am very happy with how the shirts turned out. The printing looks great even after several washings, and the shirt fit well, keeping its shape.

One thing I really like about ooshirts is that they are very upfront about costs. Their price quote includes all taxes, fees, and shipping so you know exactly what you are going to pay. They also give you a bulk discount based on how many shirts you are ordering, even for smaller number of shirts, and this is shown in the price quote. I found the price very reasonable for 2-sided printing, particularly if you are ordering a bunch ( < $5 each if you order 1,000 ). They also look over your design after you submit it to ensure that everything is centered, lined up and high enough resolution. It is this attention to detail that sets them apart from other ‘create-your-own’ sites like CafePress.

Overall, I was happy enough with the quality and fit of the shirts that I will probably order a couple more to wear during The Biggest Week in American Birding. Check ooshirts out if you are looking for a modern, intuitive service to make custom t-shirts or even hoodies.

Thanks to ooshirts.com for allowing us to create t-shirts to test out their service.
