THE BIRDER is an intelligent and witty comedy about a mild-mannered high school teacher and avid birder who plots revenge against a younger, hipper rival, after losing the Head of Ornithology position at the local park.
We’ve been working very hard to get this film made since 2006 (6 Years). From the outset, our goal has been to make an honest comedy that we think people will want to see. Despite many challenges; we were able to pull things together and shoot the film this past summer.
We’ve come this far, but what we are not done yet…we now have all the footage we need to piece together a great movie, only problem is, we need more money to get through the many steps of Post-Production to complete the film. We need to edit the film, create authentic visual effects, ensure a crisp sound design and sound mix, secure cool music, apply to film festivals, promote the film and cover our legal and accounting expenses.
If we raise our goal we will be able to complete and deliver a film people will want to see. We started with a strong script, pulled together a great team of creative people (cast & crew) and now we want to do the film justice and finish it properly.
